Synopsis
A land economist turned politician, Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi has risen from Minister of Supplies and Marketing, a position he was appointed in his first term in Parliament, to the current perch as Kenya's Vice President. In between, he has been Minister for Finance, Agriculture, Information, Transport and Communications.
He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Governors, Africa Development Bank (ADB) and is a member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission. Born in 1960, Mudavadi is married and has three children, two sons and a daughter
